Dr. Imran Raghvaji
General Practice
Dr. Raghvaji graduated from the University of Alberta in 2013 before completing his residency in family medicine in Edmonton, Alberta. He has worked with Aceso Medical since its inception, as well as in his position as a Clinical Professor at the University of Alberta Faculty of Medicine.
During Aceso Medical’s deployment of COVID-19 testing in 2020, Dr. Raghvaji worked passionately on the front lines to provide premium care to Albertans. When he isn’t in the clinic, Dr. Raghvaji enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and running.

Dr. Manisha Witmans
Pediatric Respirology and Sleep Medicine
Dr. Witmans graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1997 with her medical degree. Since the completion of medical school, she has dedicated her career to consistent learning and studying patient care. She completed her residency in pediatrics at the University of Calgary in 2000 before specializing further in pediatric respirology and sleep medicine.
Her active role in medicine has awarded her with three board certifications in subspecialties. She works closely with pediatric patients to assess and treat disordered breathing and poor sleep hygiene.
Dr. Anna Malanowska
Pediatric Respirology and Sleep Medicine
Dr. Malanowska graduated with her fellowship in Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine from the University of Calgary in 1999. Since then, she has worked alongside pediatric patients to provide sleep treatments and solutions.
When she isn’t working directly with patients, Dr. Malanowska spends her time at the University of Alberta as a Clinical Associate Professor.

Dr. Sana Vahidy
Respirologist
Dr. Vahidy’s educational background includes completing Medical School, Internal Medicine and Respirology training in Edmonton.
After graduation, she went on to pursue additional training in Interstitial Lung Diseases. Dr. Vahidy has been working in Alberta since 2018
Dr. Ling Ling
Internal Medicine, Immunology, and Allergy
Dr. Ling Ling is a clinical immunology and allergy specialist in Edmonton, Alberta. She is a skilled medical professional with a medical degree from the University of Alberta and FRCPC in Internal Medicine.
She also holds Sub-Specialty Certification in Clinical Immunology and Allergy from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Aashif Esmail
Occupational Physician
Dr. Esmail has been a family medicine physician for nearly 40 years. He is an injury management consultant and a certified examiner for motor vehicle accident claims in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Although a majority of his work involves work injury management, Dr. Esmail also performs independent occupational medical examiner consulting for various organizations such as Stream-Flo, University of Alberta, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Gilead Alberts, OEM Remanfacturing, Aceso Medical Clinic, and Assured Income for the Severely Handicapped
Dr. Debarsi Das
MD, MRO, ISAM, CSAM-SMCA, FRCPC
Dr. Debarsi Das is one of the original physicians at ACESO Medical. He is an adult consultant psychiatrist who works in various locations across Alberta. He does telephone and in-person consultations and is registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
He is a diagnostic specialist and provides family physicians with targeted treatment plans. Dr. Das is an addictions specialist and is licensed with the International Society of Addiction Medicine and the Canadian Society of Addiction Medicine.
Occupational medicine is part of his practice, and he works as a Medical Review Officer. He does independent medical examinations (IMEs) for municipal, provincial, and federal organizations.
He also works closely with safety-sensitive employees and provides targeted assessments for these organizations. He is affiliated with the University of Alberta as a clinical lecturer and also teaches part-time.
Dr. Kara Robertson
Starting January 2025
Dr. Kara Robertson is a Clinical Immunologist and Allergist at ACESO Medical who sees patients of all ages.
She received her medical degree from the University of Ottawa, and she is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in both Internal Medicine and Clinical Immunology and Allergy.
In addition, she has received certification in Quality Improvement in Healthcare through Western University and Continuing Professional Development through the University of Toronto.
Prior to ACESO, she was an Assistant Professor and Continuous Quality Improvement Lead during her tenure as a Clinical Immunologist and Allergist in the Department of Medicine at Western University in London, Ontario.
She has authored numerous scientific articles in Clinical Immunology and Allergy, and she is currently the Vice-Chair of the Education Committee for the Canadian Society for Allergy and Clinical Immunology (CSACI).
Her professional interests encompass immunotherapy, pollen – food allergy syndrome, and eosinophilic esophagitis
