We offer a accredited level 3 Pulmonary Function Diagnostic (PFD) lab. We are a CPSA accredited facility and have several onsite body plethysmography boxes onsite to ensure there is no wait for your patients.
What is Pulmonary Function Testing?
Our PFT Lab provides diagnostic testing and measurable results on lung function. Led by a physician, PFT testing can diagnose lung disorders and diseases, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), long-term COVID symptoms, and other ailments that affect lung capacity.
PFT & Spirometry testing that is medically required is a publicly insured service and there is no cost to the patient
Mobile Spirometry Coming Soon!
If you require spirometry to be completed for a group of patients in a rural area, Aceso Medical can help. We’ll deploy our mobile units and an accredited technician to administer spirometry tests.
There’s no charge to the patient or the clinic, but requisitions must be completed for our services. We require at least eight on-site tests to book our services. All test results will conveniently be uploaded to Netcare.
